Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Australia, with over 20,000 women expected to be diagnosed this year. In fact, 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Since its inception in 1994, the NBCF has contributed to a 43% reduction in breast cancer mortality rates, thanks to breakthroughs in prevention, early detection, and treatment. However, the journey isn’t over. With the NBCF’s vision of achieving zero deaths from breast cancer, every contribution counts.
