Dr John Salanitri

Dr Salanitri started working with CQ Radiology on the 4th July and is based at the Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital.

Dr Salanitri obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours from the University of Queensland in 1992. After working in rural Queensland hospitals for three years, he trained in Radiology at St.Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and did an MRI Fellowship at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. He was admitted to the FRANZCR in 2002 and did further advanced MRI training in Chicago, returning to Queensland in 2006. Prior to moving to Rockhampton, Dr Salanitri has worked in private practice on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.

Dr Salanitri’s professional interests include Musculoskeletal Imaging and MRI.
